Project Controls Scheduler

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Controls Scheduler to work in a Hybrid Role to support our growing team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing, managing, and maintaining project schedules across various projects. This position involves working closely with project teams to ensure that all project milestones and deadlines are met, and providing continuous reporting and analysis to stakeholders.

Project Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules using scheduling software Primavera P6, to ensure timely project execution.
  • Create baseline schedules and implement updates based on project scope changes, risks, and resources.
  • Ensure schedules are integrated with other project plans and adjust as needed to reflect changes in scope or timelines.
  • Monitor and track project milestones and deadlines to ensure project stays on schedule.

Risk Management:

  • Identify schedule risks and work with the project team to implement corrective actions. Develop and maintain contingency plans to address potential issues.
  • Support the development of risk mitigation plans and track risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret project data to identify trends and performance metrics.
  • Provide recommendations to improve project efficiency and effectiveness.

Change Management:

  • Track and manage changes to the scope, schedule, and budget of the project.
  • Ensure all changes are documented and approved according to project governance processes.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.
  • Communicate regularly with project managers, senior management, and stakeholders regarding project performance, issues, and updates.
  • Support in the preparation of presentations for project reviews and meetings.

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in project controls, project scheduling, or a similar role in the construction industry.
  • 4+ years of experience using project management software Primavera P6 for scheduling, planning, and managing large, complex projects is a must.
